Between June 27 and 28, a new successful Cluster Exchange event took place, organized by MODACC.
The event allowed the participants to better understand the ecosystem of clusters in Catalonia, to develop their capacities as cluster managers and to better understand the best practices in the region.
On the first day, the Capacity Building participants visited the MODACC headquarters and had the opportunity to learn about the activity of three important clusters in the region: Beauty Cluster Barcelona, Secpho and CEEC (Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia).
On the second day, the participants visited the ACCIO agency (Agency for Business Competitiveness). ACCIÓ is the Catalan Government’s agency for business competitiveness. Belonging to the Ministry of Business and Labour, it is the public facing organization working to contribute to the transformation of Catalan companies. It has a network of 40 offices worldwide, 7 regional offices in Catalonia, and collaborates with public and private institutions.
Also, the participants had the opportunity to meet with the representatives of the LCI Barcelona university. LCI Barcelona is the most international school of design and visual arts in the Catalan capital due to the 23 campuses spread across the 5 continents that the Canadian network LCI Education has and to which the School belongs.
